Medals for Culture War

We live in the time of total war raging from Mariupol, Ukraine to Tarrytown, NY.  As one journalist has noticed: Anyone who fails to see the connection between the culture war and the war must be asleep.

Wake up, ladies and gentlemen and everyone in between and beyond.  Hone your weapons, rush into the fight. Be aware: the fight against evil is perilous and you can fall victim. We hear every day about the unspeakable atrocities committed by the forces of evil in Ukraine. Here in the USA, we’re on firmer grounds and the acts of brutality are incomparably milder. But still. And from now on you the victims of Culture War can rejoice: your sacrifice won’t be in vain.

 We have established a medal Lavender Heart that to be bestowed on those who were wounded or killed in the battles of Culture War.

The medals will be awarded to certain individuals by a committee of seven (7) highly distinguished and anonymous judges. Their identities will never be revealed, and they will meet in an unidentified location in a repurposed WW2 bunker.
